Accounts and access

• Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure.
• Do not share an account, create accounts to evade restrictions or impersonate another person or organisation.
• Choose a handle that does not infringe rights, mislead users or suggest an official relationship that does not exist.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a security failure within our control.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Home Whispers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, display, distribute and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, legal, safety and evidentiary retention.

You confirm that your content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit it, and that our permitted use will not infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality or other rights. You must not upload images copied from third-party property websites or other sources without the rights holder's permission.

Acceptable use

• Follow the Community Guidelines and all applicable laws.
• Do not scrape, harvest, probe, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service or its security.
• Do not use automated systems to create accounts, submit content, manipulate engagement or extract data without written permission.
• Do not upload malware, deceptive links or material that infringes another person's rights.
• Do not use property information to stalk, harass, discriminate against, defraud or endanger a person.
• Do not resell or commercially exploit Home Whispers data or access unless a separate written agreement allows it.

Property information is general information

Listings, auction details, predictions, comments, maps, zoning, council information, local insights and third-party data may be incomplete, delayed, estimated or incorrect. Community content reflects the contributor's view and is not independently verified unless we expressly say otherwise.

Home Whispers does not provide legal, financial, valuation, planning, building or real estate advice. Verify important information with the selling agent, owner, relevant authority and qualified advisers before making a decision. We are not a party to a property sale, agency appointment or transaction between users.

Third-party services and links

The service may link to property portals, agency websites, maps, public data sources, Google sign-in and other third-party services. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by them. A link or data reference does not mean Home Whispers endorses or guarantees the third party.

Moderation and account action

We may review, reject, label, restrict or remove content and may warn, restrict, suspend or close accounts as described in the Moderation Standards. We may act without advance notice where necessary for safety, security, legal compliance or to prevent ongoing harm.

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where reasonably practicable, we will avoid unnecessary disruption and provide notice of material changes.

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or a particular property outcome.

To the extent permitted by law, Home Whispers is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on community or third-party property information, user conduct, an unavailable service or an external website. Each party remains responsible for loss caused by its own unlawful, fraudulent or negligent conduct.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms to reflect service, safety or legal changes. The updated version applies from the date shown on this page. If a change materially affects registered users, we may provide an additional notice through the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
